There is two access point to reach Komodo National Park.

Bima (East Sumba airport): a small city in the most eastern part of Sumbawa island which always is a transit point for all the major small cities in the East Nusa Tenggara region. From here you will need to drive approximately 1,5 hours heading to the east to reach Sape harbour where you will be aboard a wooden boat leaving for Komodo island. Boating will take up to 7 hours from Sape. Labuan Bajo - a small city, newly developed area, stunning view of the Komodo National Park. It is the latest form of a new small city on Flores island. Driving about 10 minutes from the airport to Bajo harbour for you to aboard Local wooden boat leaving for Komodo island. It takes about 3 - 4 hours to Komodo island.

By Boat from Labuan Bajo

This is the most convenient distance to reach Komodo National Park, as it takes a little short by boat from the mainland. Everyone who is on an overland trip from Flores is only aware to contact us to book this trip at either our local office or through our head office in Denpasar - Bali.
