Central Java is renowned for its landscape candis (Temples). Its most famous temple is the Buddhist Candi Borobudur. Located on a hill overlooking a lush green rice field outside Yogyakarta, the temple built in the eighteen century contains an impressive collection of Buddhist reliefs.

And on the Dieng Plateau at an altitude of 6,880 feet above sea level stand the ruins of centuries-old Hindu Temples named after characters of the Mahabharata epic. Worth seeing is also the "KRATON" (Palace of the Sultan) with its heritage of refined court dances such as the "SERIMPI" and "BEDOYO" which were formerly only by the daughters of the nobility, but are now also danced beyond the Kraton Wall.

Yogyakarta is famous for being the cradle of Javanese art and culture. Tradition comes to life at festivities like the "GEREBEK" or "SEKATEN" celebrated in all grandeur. They bring about a serene atmosphere of centuries-old Javanese customs and rituals.

Tourists visiting Yogyakarta usually make it point to visit the Batik Research Institue where the techniques of Batik manufacturing are studied and improved, and the Prambanan Hindu temples with the main Shiva temple forming the natural setting of the " RAMAYANA BALLET" performance stage regularly during full moon each month from May to October.

Arts and crafts flourish in Yogyakarta, as craftsmen produce leather wayang puppets, leather parchment carvings, bamboo handicrafts, silverware, batik and various other handicrafts for souvenirs, using centuries-old techniques.

Pick Up Service at Yogyakarta International Airport. Meet and greet with our guide staff. we will take you first to the hotel for check in- some rest and then..starting the tour to visit the Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta where this place was for the king and all his families stayed. Sultan Palace is the most historical palace as well as the symbol of Yogyakarta City. Then, the trip will be continued to Water Castle. This place was a swimming pool for the king and all of his families for having fun and spent their weekends together. It is located at the sultan palace complex. Lunch will be provided at the local restaurant near Sultan Palace. From this place, the trip will proceed to the centre of the handicraft industry in Yogyakarta. There are two famous handicraft industries here, the first is Batik (Hand-woven) industry and the second is Silver Crafts Industry. We take you first to visit the manufacture of Batik Industry at Tirtodipuran Area. it is about 3 km from downtown. Here you can see the real process of batik production and visit the showroom. Then…., we take you to the Kota Gede Area where the Centre of Silver Craft Industry is here. You also can see about the production process of silver become many kinds of jewellery and silver handicrafts as well as we visit the showroom. Please take your time at both places before we will have dinner at the local restaurant. The trip today will end by dropping you at the hotel for taking a rest.

Day 2 (B, L) : Hotel C/O – Malioboro SightSeeing – T/O

Breakfast at Hotel. Our guide will have been already on standby waiting for your coming to the hotel lobby since 09.30 AM. On the second day trip, we will take you first to have proceeded to Malioboro Street the main street in Yogyakarta (0 Km). Here, you can do your sightseeing in Yogyakarta city by taking a walk, taking a horse ride or by tricycles (personal account). Please take your time in this place. Before taking you back to the hotel or to the airport for flying to your next destination, lunch will be provided at the local restaurant. See you on the next trip with us.
